This is essentially what you want to do as by doing so you'll be able to rank highly under a competitive keyword term. Now how do you obtain backlinks? You may think this is easier said than done, but you can quite easily obtaing backlinks from blogging by commenting on other peoples blogs.





Offer insightful, helpful comments that you feel contribute to the discussion, and then for your name include a link back to your web site. This will allow you to gain diversity in your links to your site, and allow you to rank under many different terms. As your site gains ranking within the search engines, you'll end up attracting visitors, and this of course, is essentially all there is to make money blogging.





By applying this simple principle of acquiring backlinks, you'll be able to rank yourself within the search engine results quite easy and freely, and with time and practice you'll be able to rank multiple sites, and blogs, and you may even enjoy blogging whilst you make money. The answer is, not that easy, at least, not from the perspective of a person who is a novice to making money through the internet. The reason for this is due to the many misconceptions that there are surrounding just how exactly the online money making business works.





To start with, you'll need to set up a website or a blog of some form, and put in a fair amount of effort to get that blog ranked well within the various search engines, in particular Google will of course be your main focus. Without having a site that's ranked well within the search engines, you won't be receiving free traffic, and thus your site will be a lot harder to monetize. Ranking a website takes time in itself, and isn't a quick process, therefore the whole illusion of being able to make money fast through a site is a false one.





Then once your site is set up, you have other issues to worry about. For example, just how well does your site compare to other sites in your niche? Why will people visit your site compared to another one covering the same topic? What do you offer your visitors that's different? These are all questions you'll need to ask yourself I you hope to make any money online, as all too often people think that the processes involved are somehow easy, or straight forward, which of course they're not.





So once your website is setup, and you've got it ranked within the search engine results under a competitive keyword term, how do you then go on to make money? Well you could use some form of advertising, such as adsense, or rather you could market an affiliate product directly (the later of which is often the more lucrative). Once you get targeted traffic to your site that's ready to commit to actions, you're going to be more likely to profit from your website visits.





All in all, the whole process of setting up a site, getting it ranked, and advertising a good product or service that sells, can take many months to setup. Hardly a way to make money fast is it? But then again, there is no way to make money fast that is long term, at least not from a non-established business. That's why you need to be smart about the whole internet marketing game. If you want to make money blogging for example, then put in the necessary time and effort that will see your blog rank well, and become popular. If you want an easy ride to financial freedom, then unfortunately such a thing just doesn't exist.
